It’s becoming harder to tell the difference between the radical left and the enemies of America. Take Chris Murphy, the Connecticut Democrat, who’s taken Trump Derangement Syndrome to new and dangerous heights. Instead of rooting for his own country, Murphy is openly cheering for America to fail on the world stage. That isn’t just bad politics—it’s sickening.
Murphy’s latest stunt isn’t just embarrassing for Senate Democrats. It’s an insult to every American servicemember. By celebrating setbacks for the United States, Murphy is putting his own hate for Trump above the lives of our brave troops. He seems more interested in political points than protecting American interests or supporting those putting their lives on the line.
Let’s be clear: when American leaders wish for our nation to stumble, they’re playing right into the hands of our adversaries. Murphy acts as if the real enemy is Trump, not the murderous Iranian regime. He all but supports letting the Iranian people suffer under a brutal dictatorship just to score points against the previous administration. For someone sworn to serve this country, that’s nothing short of shameful.
This is where the left’s hypocrisy really starts to stink. Liberals lecture everyone about “democracy” and “human rights,” but when it comes to Iran, they’d rather cozy up to a bloodthirsty dictatorship than admit Trump was ever right about anything. So much for standing with oppressed people. Their anti-American bias is so strong, they’d rather kneel for the mullahs than applaud a win for freedom.
With politicians like Murphy, America doesn’t need enemies abroad. The left’s obsession with taking down Trump has twisted their priorities beyond recognition. Maybe it’s time we ask: Who are these Democrats really rooting for—our troops, or our enemies?
