Election Day in Virginia is here again, and this time there’s more at stake than anyone on the left wants to admit. Today, Virginians are being asked if they’re willing to let politicians, mostly far-left Democrats, take the wheel and rig the state’s congressional maps for years to come. That’s right—the same politicians responsible for countless blunders now want even more control, this time over how citizens are represented. If this isn’t textbook liberal power-grabbing, what is?
For decades, liberals have screamed about “fairness”—yet here they are designing plans to redraw districts behind closed doors, shoving conservative voices aside. The Commonwealth’s redistricting referendum has nothing to do with democracy and everything to do with one party clinging to power, no matter the cost. If Democrats get their way, Virginians can expect more backroom deals and districts carved up just to protect blue politicians who answer to D.C. elites and globalist donors.
Let’s not forget the disasters these same lawmakers have already dumped on hardworking families. High taxes, failing schools, rising crime—you name it, the left owns it. But instead of fixing what’s broken, Democrat leaders want to tinker with the maps and tilt every future election in their favor. They’d rather pick their voters than earn them.
Where are those loud liberal voices now, the ones who shriek about protecting democracy at every turn? Silence. Hypocrisy runs deep when their own power is on the line. Remember—these politicians don’t want fair maps. They want safe seats and rubber-stamped agendas, whether Virginians like it or not.
Here’s what’s really happening: Democrats see the writing on the wall. They know Virginians are fed up with their failed leadership. So instead of facing voters honestly, they’re trying to rig the game. Real conservatives see through the smoke and mirrors—and they know exactly what’s at stake. Will the left be allowed to keep rewriting the rules to protect their political survival, or will the people of Virginia finally say enough is enough?
