Maybe now Virginians will see just how desperate the left is to lock in permanent control.
Let’s not kid ourselves. The left will stop at nothing to gerrymander, manipulate, and twist the rules. They don’t want real representation; they want obedient districts stacked to hand them every election. When the people push back, Democrats run straight to the courts, hoping activist judges will rubber-stamp their latest scam. This time, a judge actually called foul and ordered a halt. That reaction says it all.
For years, big-money globalists and elite liberals have tried to take over Virginia. They’re terrified of everyday Virginians making their voices heard. By redrawing the maps, they gamble with the Constitution and spit on the will of the people. Liberals crow about democracy, but their actions are anything but democratic. It’s all about consolidating unchecked power for themselves.
Where is the media outrage now? There’s none, because the left’s hypocrisy gets a pass. Imagine if Republicans tried to rig the map like this—the liberal talking heads would melt down. But when progressives try to rewrite the rules to benefit their pals, it’s somehow “fairness.” Americans aren’t buying it, not for a second.
Judges don’t always get it right, but this time, at least, common sense broke through. The Constitution is not a toy for politicians to play with. If Democrats want to win, let them earn it—don’t let them steal it with sneaky ballots and underhanded redistricting. Virginians deserve government by the people, not by the political machine.
