The revolving door in Washington just keeps spinning, and once again, the Navy takes the spotlight. Secretary John C. Phelan heads for the exit, and it’s not hard to see why. Liberals in leadership have been running our armed forces into the ground, ignoring threats from China and Russia while focusing on woke agendas and diversity checklists. Gone is the era when military leadership fought for strength and readiness—now, we get virtue signals and empty slogans. Phelan’s exit is just proof this old, broken way isn’t working.
But here’s the good news: Under Secretary Hung Cao now steps up to the plate. And let’s be honest—he’s the kind of tough, no-nonsense leader our Navy desperately needs. Cao has seen what happens when America goes soft. China is building up its navy faster than we can say “pronouns.” Our enemies laugh at the weakness coming from Washington—a weakness encouraged by clueless bureaucrats and their leftist friends in the media.
For years, liberals have treated our Navy like a social experiment. Instead of focusing on training warriors, they push for endless workshops and boxes to check. Is it any surprise our ships are breaking down and recruitment numbers keep dropping? Patriots everywhere are sick and tired of watching our military take marching orders from people who never wore the uniform and never will.
Now is the perfect moment for a real change. Hung Cao isn’t part of the old boys’ club that bows before Beltway elites and globalists. He knows what leadership means, and he has the backbone to put America’s security first. Maybe the Navy can finally ditch the focus groups and get back to what it does best—protecting this country and sending a message of strength the world can’t ignore.
Will the left keep trying to tear down anyone who refuses to go along with their destructive crusade? Probably. But with leaders like Hung Cao, maybe—just maybe—the Navy has a fighting chance to return to greatness. America deserves warriors, not woke crusaders. Are we ready to take our military back, or will we let liberal incompetence sink our fleet?
