Senator exposes Federal Reserve spending scandal liberals want to hide

In Washington, the excuses just keep piling up. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell wants Americans to believe he and his friends are under attack. He insists the Department of Justice is only investigating the Fed’s sky-high renovation costs because liberals want to bully him into lowering interest rates. What a joke. This is pure victim mentality from one of the most unaccountable, untouchable bureaucrats in the country.

But then Senator Thom Tillis steps in and blows Powell’s weak story out of the water. Tillis isn’t buying into the pity party. Instead, he’s calling out the real issue: the Fed squandered taxpayer money, and now it’s trying to dodge responsibility. Liberals are desperate to distract from this reckless spending spree, but the facts aren’t on their side. Americans deserve answers—not more finger-pointing from out-of-touch elites.

Let’s face it: the left has always loved big government, especially when it means writing blank checks for their friends. Powell’s latest blame game is just another tired example. The Fed runs wild, spends billions, and refuses to answer hard questions—then cries “persecution” the second someone mentions oversight. If the DOJ truly wants justice, they should stop taking marching orders from globalist insiders and start demanding real accountability.

Powell tries to spin this as a political witch hunt when, in reality, it’s just common sense. When costs explode, someone should look into it. Taxpayers demand it, and conservatives know it’s long overdue. Americans are sick and tired of arrogant officials getting caught and then whining about “pressure.” That’s not persecution. That’s consequences—something Democrats conveniently forget when their own allies are under the microscope.

Maybe it’s time Powell and his pals felt a little heat. Maybe it’s time liberals realized Americans are watching. Where’s all that “transparency” they love to preach about? Or does that not count when it’s their sacred institutions wasting mountains of our money?
