This week, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shrugged off Iran’s brazen seizure of two foreign ships, calmly insisting it’s not a big deal because the ships didn’t fly American or Israeli flags. This is the twisted logic the left now brings to international threats—if Americans aren’t directly involved, it doesn’t matter. That kind of thinking is dangerous, weak, and exactly what America’s enemies love to see.
Let’s be clear: Iran seized two ships in international waters. Instead of demanding action, the current White House sits back, twiddling their thumbs. The only thing that seems to matter to the Biden team is whether a ship is American or Israeli. Do they not understand that letting Iran bully and harass our allies or even neutral parties only encourages more lawlessness and aggression? If Iran can get away with grabbing ships without a peep from the United States, how long before they aim higher?
Liberals love to preach about defending global norms and standing up to bullies—unless, of course, it would require showing some backbone. This administration’s cowardly response is a slap in the face to our partners around the world. What kind of signal does this send to our supposed allies? Apparently, you’re on your own unless you happen to be lucky enough to wave the right colors. America was once the leader who kept the seas safe, not the bystander who watches pirates run wild.
Make no mistake: this isn’t about protecting America’s interests. It’s about appeasing globalists and refusing to offend anyone who might not agree with left-wing agendas. It’s about ducking responsibility because standing up would require strength, clarity, and real leadership—qualities this administration simply doesn’t possess. By looking the other way while Iran flexes its muscles, the White House is practically inviting more chaos across the globe.
What will it take for the left to wake up? Another crisis? American lives at risk? Or do they just not care as long as it fits their narrative? When American leadership disappears, the bad guys get bolder. Sadly, the left’s message to the world is loud and clear: as long as you attack someone else, America won’t stand in your way. When did cowardice become the new strategy?
