Iran is reeling, and it’s about time. For more than a week, the United States has finally shown some strength by clamping down tight on ships coming and going from Iranian ports. Guess what happens when you cut off the cash flow from a regime built on terror, oil smuggling, and hatred of America? The mullahs start to sweat bullets.
Iran’s leaders are now so desperate they’re scraping together any junk tankers they can find—rusting hulks barely fit to float—all so they can keep their dirty oil money trickling in. These aren’t modern ships built for business. They are relics pulled from the scrapyard, barely seaworthy, and a sad symbol of just how much trouble Tehran is in. The Islamic Republic, once lecturing the world, is now playing a game of keepaway with decrepit vessels, hoping to dodge sanctions and keep their regime from collapsing under the weight of its own rotten ideas.
And where are the Biden liberals while this is happening? They’d rather play nice with Iran than put American interests first. These are the same people who tell you border walls don’t work, police are the problem, and America shouldn’t throw its weight around. Yet even a half-hearted blockade is forcing Iran to show its cards. Imagine what would happen if Washington actually doubled down with real backbone instead of apologizing for American power.
Globalists and the left-wing elite love preaching about diplomacy and understanding, but their approach has only made Iran bolder. All those “negotiations” and secret deals didn’t stop Iran’s terror games, did they? Iran only backs down when it’s faced with true strength—something Democrats seem allergic to showing on the world stage. Instead, the liberals wail that tough tactics are “mean” while Iran plots against Americans and our allies.
Here’s a hard truth: if the West keeps up the squeeze, the ayatollahs will have to choose between their own luxury and their precious revolution. Maybe it’s time for Washington to stop worrying about globalist hand-wringing and start caring about American security. If a rusty tanker is all Iran has left, maybe the regime’s days are numbered. Or will the left find a way to bail them out again?
