Once again, the danger of ignoring biological reality has exploded in the faces of left-wing politicians. In Scotland, a man—yes, a man calling himself a woman—was just charged for sexually assaulting a real woman inside a so-called “mixed-sex” prison. This isn’t some harmless experiment in “diversity and inclusion.” It’s the Scottish National Party knowingly putting violent offenders straight into spaces where women are supposed to be safe. If this sounds insane, that’s because it is.
The man in question, locked up for murder, got placed in HMP Greenock thanks to the SNP’s reckless policy. For years now, leftists have mocked anyone raising concerns about men entering women’s spaces. Now the predictable has happened, and a woman’s life is shattered—because the government chose woke ideology over basic safety.
Even after the U.K.’s highest court made it clear: Women are entitled to single-sex spaces. There’s no confusion here. “Trans women” are not women. Biology doesn’t change with wishful thinking or political pressure. Yet, the Scottish government refuses to follow the law, all to help their radical activist base feel good.
Author J.K. Rowling has had enough. She’s stepping up, offering to pay the victim’s legal bills herself. This is a woman who’s not afraid to stand up to the gender activists, even when the mob comes after her. Meanwhile, the leftist politicians wring their hands and make excuses.
Women now have to fight the very governments that are supposed to protect them. Why? Because the left’s fantasy world puts political correctness above basic decency and common sense. How many more women have to suffer before these elites care more about protecting women than scoring woke points? Maybe one day, the left will remember what real feminism looks like—but don’t hold your breath.
