It looks like Manhattan is about to play host to a political circus this 9/11, with King Charles III and the city’s far-left mayor, Zohran Mamdani, showing up at the memorial that marks one of America’s darkest days. This is supposed to be a solemn time to honor those lost to evil, not a photo opportunity for globalist royalty and big-city socialists. Yet, this is exactly what Democrats serve up—turning everything, even tragedy, into a stage for their own agendas.
Let’s not kid ourselves: King Charles isn’t flying across the ocean for the sake of American families crushed by terrorism. He’s here to check boxes, placate elites, and flash his crown across the pond. His presence isn’t about patriotism—it’s about global cooperation and optics, an empty gesture from a throne that hasn’t stood for real leadership in decades.
Then there’s Mayor Mamdani, the same man who wears the badge of “democratic socialist” like it’s a medal. Does anyone truly believe that someone who stands so far left, who seems more interested in dividing Americans over every issue, has what it takes to properly honor the memory of 9/11? The city that was attacked deserves better than a mayor more focused on pleasing the socialist base than defending this country’s values.
This is the pattern we see time and time again: liberals using sacred American moments for their grandstanding while thumbing their noses at the very spirit that makes this country great. They rush to the cameras and lay wreaths, but what about standing up for America’s safety every other day? What about defending our borders? What about showing some real backbone in the face of evil? Instead, we get another round of empty gestures, all for show.
When the smoke clears and the cameras are off, where will these so-called leaders be? Probably back to their palaces and high-rise offices, plotting their next political move while everyday Americans are left picking up the pieces. Is this what real leadership looks like? It’s time we demand better and stop letting the left rewrite what it means to truly honor our country.
