Zohran Mamdani just handed New Yorkers—and the world—a clear look at where his loyalties lie. With his very first veto as mayor, Mamdani drew a line in the sand, and it’s not on the side of the people who care about law, order, or defending our Jewish neighbors. Once again, the radical left proves it cares more about pandering to the woke mob than keeping our city safe or showing even a shred of backbone against growing anti-Semitism.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Mamdani didn’t stumble into this decision. He knew exactly what he was doing when he slammed the brakes on the kind of policy that protects vulnerable communities and supports our police. Instead of standing strong with the Jewish families being threatened and harassed, he chose to play footsie with activists who hate America’s traditional values. The so-called “progressives” cheered, while regular people were left shaking their heads in disbelief.

This is exactly what happens when you put leftists in charge. Law and order get thrown out the window while radical interests come first. Mamdani showed—again—that he’s no friend of those who just want to walk their neighborhood in peace. The elites championing these kinds of politicians never have to deal with the mess their policies create. Regular New Yorkers bear that brunt every single day.

Time and time again, we see liberal politicians talk about tolerance and inclusion, but it only seems to apply to causes that line up with their globalist agenda. When Jewish lives and property are at risk, suddenly the left’s so-called empathy disappears. When it comes time to actually stand up against the rising tide of anti-Semitism, Mamdani and his buddies do what they always do: they run for cover or worse, pile on.

Enough is enough. New Yorkers deserve leaders who actually defend them—not leaders who bow to radicals and shrug off the everyday dangers facing Jewish families. Predictable? Sure. Disgusting? Absolutely. Yet how many times will voters let the left’s failed policies put their safety and freedom on the chopping block? Maybe it’s time to ask—whose side is Zohran Mamdani really on? Because it sure isn’t yours.
