While the blue checkmarks and career activists love to talk about “common sense gun reform” and “safe spaces,” they expect someone else to provide their safety. It took the Secret Service to do what these progressive darlings never could: actually protect someone. President Trump was hustled out, thousands of “brave” reporters hit the floor, and the fantasy of liberal immunity shattered in an instant. It’s rich to watch the very people who spent years saying Trump was the danger suddenly desperate for him to be safe. Their hypocrisy is glaring. They spent years trashing him, calling him divisive, even dangerous—yet when true danger came knocking, you better believe they wanted him protected first. Suddenly, Secret Service agents aren’t such bad guys, are they? Maybe these journalists will finally admit that security isn’t just a “right-wing” issue. But don’t hold your breath.
These same globalist reporters love to thumb their noses at Americans who believe in strong borders, the right to defend yourself, and the values that build real communities. When violence actually threatens them, though, their ivory tower crumbles. Their calls for “unity” and “civility” disappear the second chaos enters their safe space. It’s laughable—if it wasn’t so sad.
America saw today what really rattles the D.C. bubble. For all their big talk and fake moral high ground, it turns out the only thing that makes the leftist establishment drop their act is raw, unfiltered danger. So, what do we learn? Maybe it’s time the elite stop attacking those who believe in law, order, and the American way—and start admitting that the grown-ups in the room are wearing red hats.
