Another day, another disaster on the elites’ watch. News has broken of a shooting at the ultra-swanky White House Correspondents Dinner. It’s supposed to be the crown jewel of Washington, where journalists, bureaucrats, and liberal celebrities rub elbows while telling Americans how to live. This time, all their glitz and glamor couldn’t keep chaos out the door.
Think about it: the so-called “best and brightest” in D.C. couldn’t even keep their own party safe. These are the folks lecturing regular Americans about gun laws, “common sense” reforms, and how much safer we’d all be if we just listened to them. Yet, in the shining temple of liberal media and Democrat insiders, violence still crashes the party. Globalists and media bigwigs will call it a tragedy, but they still don’t get it. Their “solutions” have only made things worse.
Security at this event is supposed to be airtight—if that’s what passes for protection among these people, it’s no wonder their policies have left American cities overrun with crime and disorder. While middle America suffers under record violence, out-of-touch elites sip champagne behind velvet ropes, still believing they know best. The hypocrisy is stunning. Americans can’t defend themselves in their own neighborhoods, yet the same leftist class claims to be experts on keeping everyone safe.
Liberals love to blame guns and push for more government control. But what’s their track record? Here’s a prime example: liberal-run events with elite-level security can’t even stop a shooting on their own turf. Maybe it’s time these folks look in the mirror instead of pointing fingers at law-abiding citizens. It’s the same anti-American thinking, the same hollow promises, and the same failures—over and over again.
When will the so-called leaders wake up and admit they’re the problem, not the fix? How many more wake-up calls like this will it take before America demands real solutions, not more empty speeches from cocktail-party liberals?
