Over the weekend, a would-be assassin, Cole Allen, sent his twisted manifesto to his own family before marching into the White House Correspondents’ dinner and targeting President Trump and members of his administration. You read that right. This wasn’t some random act. It was a premeditated attack—right in the heart of leftist media territory. Still think this is just politics as usual? Wake up.
Let’s not pretend this is shocking from the radical crowd that’s been whipped into a frenzy for years. The suspect had every intention of making it known what he “stood for” by mailing his dark plans to his kin. Leftist rhetoric has consequences, and this time it nearly cost lives at one of the most elite gatherings frequented by liberal “journalists” and globalist politicians. If you demonize your opposition non-stop, don’t act surprised when someone takes it to the next level.
Where is the outrage from the mainstream media? Predictably quiet, as usual, unless they can pin the blame on conservatives. If a deranged leftist carries out violence, suddenly it’s just “lone wolf” behavior. No deep dives into their politics. No round-the-clock coverage about dangerous ideologies. Just silence, or worse—excuses. The double standard is sickening.
The Biden administration and Democrat leaders have built a culture where political violence is brushed aside, especially if it serves their interests. “Resistance” isn’t just a buzzword to them—it’s a permission slip for radicals. The same people who cry about democracy turn a blind eye when threats are aimed at President Trump or his team. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to describe it.
It’s time for the American people to reject this madness. Do we want a country where manifestos and violence become the left’s answer to losing elections?
