Hollywood comedians just keep getting nastier and more out of touch. Jimmy Kimmel, a man who built his career on mocking women and dressing up in blackface, has once again shown America exactly what the left thinks of our country and its values. This time, he decided Melania Trump was his target, slinging nasty jokes about her appearance like some middle school bully desperate for attention. Apparently, to the radical left, the former First Lady’s “glow” deserves derision instead of respect—just because her last name is Trump.
Let’s not forget who Jimmy Kimmel really is. He’s the same guy who used to leer at women jumping on trampolines for laughs and put on blackface to ridicule athletes he doesn’t like. This is what the left calls “comedy.” Their double standards couldn’t be clearer. If a conservative ever dared to joke about Michelle Obama or any other liberal woman this way, he’d be run out of Hollywood and canceled by morning. But when Kimmel spits vile insults at Melania, it’s met with laughter and applause from his media buddies.
It’s also hard to ignore the timing. Just days before a violent shooting in the real world, Kimmel’s cheap jokes landed, stirring anger and division. While families worry about safety and crime surges nationwide, Kimmel’s idea of entertainment is to roast the spouse of someone he hates. This is what our “entertainers” focus on, instead of real issues that actually matter to normal Americans.
The left loves to paint themselves as tolerant and kind, but people like Kimmel prove that’s a lie. They’ll support any personal attack, as long as it’s aimed at their political enemies. They call out “hate speech” one minute, and then cheer as a late-night clown viciously goes after a conservative woman the next. It’s hypocrisy at its worst, and Americans see right through it.
We need fewer celebrity “comedians” lecturing us and more real people willing to stand up for common decency. The left claims to be about progress, but all they really want is to tear down anyone who doesn’t share their twisted worldview. Maybe it’s time people like Kimmel take a hard look in the mirror. Or is decency something he’ll only bring back when a Clinton is in the White House?
