America doesn’t need another weak-kneed bureaucrat pretending to know about national security. What this country needs is a Secretary of Defense who actually looks like they’re ready to fight. Too many times, we’ve watched as left-wing leaders pick Ivy League talkers or woke social engineers to run the Pentagon. That hasn’t kept our enemies at bay. It’s made America look like a pushover.
These globalists, always terrified of “provoking” tyrants like China and Russia, claim to offer “defense,” but is anybody buying it? The world’s bad actors are only bolder when DC’s top officials spend more time at diversity seminars than in actual war rooms. Meanwhile, our troops are told to worry about pronouns while the Chinese Navy grows by the day. That isn’t defense. That’s surrender dressed up as tolerance.
Back in the day, a Secretary of Defense was someone Americans knew they could trust. They inspired confidence just by showing up, standing tall, and announcing to anyone who would listen: mess with the United States, and you’ll pay the price. What do liberal elites offer instead? Folks who walk around like they’re at a college debate club, not in charge of protecting the greatest nation on earth.
It’s clear who looks ready to roll if things heat up—and it’s not the crowd obsessed with pushing climate policies at the expense of real combat readiness. Americans deserve a Defense Secretary who acts like their job is defending Americans, not the feelings of our enemies or the interests of global organizations. The left can whine about “divisiveness” all they want, but the rest of us want someone who stands up for the Stars and Stripes, not some international committee.
Why settle for another soft-talking pencil-pusher when America could have a fighter at the helm? The next time danger knocks at the door, do you want someone itching to argue…or someone itching to defend this country? It’s time to trade the talk for action—and liberals just can’t deliver.
