This is what “progress” looks like for these streaming giants—numbing audiences with a quieted icon and banking on viewers’ memories to get them through another bland sci-fi retread. Remember when Hollywood stood for daring, original storytelling and American greatness? Now, it’s endless callbacks to Star Wars, Star Trek, and every other franchise liberals can milk for a quick buck.

It’s laughable how the left loves to bash tradition in real life while glorifying it in fiction. They want to tear down monuments and rewrite textbooks, yet the moment you switch on Amazon or Disney+, they’re shoving space cowboys, starships, and nostalgia up your nose. It’s hypocrisy at its finest—condemning patriotism and American values out in public, but raiding the culture’s memory banks to pull in dollars behind closed doors.

Of course, these streaming services are run by the same billionaire globalists who constantly lecture the rest of us about diversity and “progress”. Yet they line their pockets by regurgitating the very “member berries” South Park mocked nearly a decade ago. These elites want Americans to feel warm and fuzzy about their childhoods, while quietly pushing woke agendas, censoring the classics, and making sure no truly bold stories—especially those that champion conservative values—make it to mainstream audiences. Where’s the gritty, trailblazing filmmaking that built this nation’s reputation?

Maybe Hollywood is too terrified of real originality. Or maybe the left’s imagination is as empty as their virtue-signaling speeches.
