Yet another tragedy has unfolded right under the noses of liberal elites, and what do Democrats do? They shuffle, spin, and point fingers everywhere except at themselves. After the recent shocking shooting near the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, all we hear from the left is more reckless rhetoric. It’s become painfully obvious: Democrats are more interested in scoring political points than defending Americans.
The Biden administration can’t keep blaming everything on Republicans while they sit back and watch the chaos unfold. Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, didn’t sugarcoat it. She laid the blame where it belongs—at the feet of Democrats who refuse to take action. While innocent people’s lives are threatened, Democrats would rather spout unhinged slogans about “reimagining law enforcement” than actually funding the Department of Homeland Security so it can do its job.
Liberals love talking about “protecting democracy,” but when it comes to protecting real people, suddenly their priorities change. Funding the agencies that keep us safe? Not unless it fits their globalist agenda. Instead, they tie up DHS funding with unrelated wish-list items for their activist base, then act surprised when there’s a security breakdown. It’s textbook hypocrisy—America last, every time.
If a Republican so much as blinks the wrong way, left-wing pundits have a meltdown for days. But shootings in their own backyard? Just another excuse to attack conservatives and push anti-American policies. Why aren’t Democrats demanding that DHS gets the support it needs right now? Simple—they’re too addicted to their radical, anti-police narrative.
The left’s endless parade of empty words and virtue signaling is wearing thin. Americans are tired of being told to “settle down” while their leaders refuse to do the basics—like keep them safe at home. Maybe next time, instead of pushing crazy rhetoric and pipe-dream policies, Democrats should just do their jobs. Or is that asking too much from the party of dysfunction?
