America is a country built on grit, hard work, and the kind of ambition that liberals can’t even begin to understand. Too often, the Left tries to sell young people the lie that “the system” is rigged, or that success is only for the privileged elite. But stories like Margo Catsimatidis prove otherwise. She started as a secretary—yes, a secretary. She didn’t whine, protest, or demand handouts. Instead, she rolled up her sleeves, put in the hours, and today she helps run a multi-billion dollar empire alongside her husband.
Let that sink in. While the woke crowd is busy “finding themselves” and complaining about capitalism on social media, real Americans like Margo are out there actually building something. She landed in New York without special connections or trust funds. She faced all the same hurdles as anyone else, except she didn’t let excuses dictate her life. Hard work clearly still works, despite what the socialists in Congress want you to believe.
The Left claims that the American Dream is dead—that no one can pull themselves up anymore. Well, Margo makes a mockery of that defeatist mentality. Instead of blaming others or waiting for the government to rescue her, she relied on her own drive and values. Now she’s at the top, living proof that anyone with guts can still make it in this country.
Meanwhile, let’s talk about the hypocrisy of our so-called “progressive” elites. They preach diversity and empowerment, but it’s successful conservative families like the Catsimatidis’ who actually walk the walk. For them, opportunity isn’t about ticking boxes or making empty promises. It’s about personal responsibility and refusing to back down, no matter how many obstacles stand in the way.
Maybe it’s time for liberals to stop lecturing hard-working Americans and actually learn from them. Instead of pushing victimhood, why not promote the values that built America in the first place? Margo Catsimatidis didn’t need endless handouts or government interference—she just needed a chance. Imagine what this country could achieve if we remembered that lesson, instead of letting globalists and career politicians drag us backward. Will the Left ever admit that hard work still wins in the real world? Don’t hold your breath.
