The Democrats have done it again. When they can’t win honestly, they turn to backroom tricks and sneaky maneuvers. Nebraska’s Senate race is their latest scheme, and everyone should be paying attention. Instead of running a real candidate, state Democrats are openly playing games, using Cindy Burbank as nothing more than a political pawn. She’s not even trying to hide it—she’s running in the Democratic primary with the full hope that she’ll drop out afterward and throw support to her so-called “independent” pal, Dan Osborn.
This isn’t democracy. It’s sleight of hand meant to fool voters. Osborn pretends he’s an outsider, but he’s really just another progressive hoping to catch Nebraskans off guard. The Democrat Party is supporting him behind closed doors while funneling primary votes to Burbank as a weapon. Even the party’s own chair is boosting Osborn while telling Democrats to vote for Burbank—an embarrassing display of favoritism and backroom plotting that would make any political machine in Chicago jealous.
The plot gets even shadier. When the GOP tried to boot Burbank from the ballot for being a phony candidate, the so-called justice system jumped in and blocked it. Secretary of State Bob Evnen tried to restore order, but the Nebraska Supreme Court threw the book at deadlines instead of fairness, letting Burbank stay in the race simply because of a paperwork technicality.
Of course, the real winner in this plot isn’t the voters. It’s the Democrat insiders who rig the game and think Nebraskans are too dumb to notice. They’ll do anything to shove their “independent” Trojan horse into the Senate to please the D.C. elite. This whole circus proves that Democrats care more about control and power than they ever did about fairness or election integrity.
How much lower can the left stoop? When people say the system is rigged, just look at Nebraska. This isn’t about progress—it’s about progressives gaming the system for their own ends. The only real choice for Nebraska is to send a message loud and clear: you can’t fool real Americans with cheap tricks and phony independents.
