Nonprofit hospitals used to be places where people could go to heal. Now it looks like they’re more interested in being woke than taking care of Americans. Instead of focusing on sick children, cancer patients, and seniors, these so-called “healthcare” leaders have turned their attention to radical politics—pushing diversity, equity, and inclusion, gender ideology for kids, and even fanatical climate restrictions.
These powerful hospital chains rake in billions and don’t pay taxes because they claim to serve the community. But it’s the American people who are getting left behind. Ordinary families—especially working-class Americans—are struggling to pay hospital bills while executives waste resources on trendy pet projects and virtue signaling. Instead of lowering costs or improving care, these billionaire bureaucrats focus on politics that cozy up to D.C. elites and globalists.
It gets worse. Some of these hospitals now push transgender procedures on minors, all while patting themselves on the back for how “inclusive” they are. Apparently, a child’s well-being takes a back seat to scoring points with the left. And good luck getting answers about how much these hospitals charge for their so-called care. They hide behind complex billing, dodge accountability, and pass the costs on to taxpayers.
Even the climate extremists have wormed their way into hospital decision-making. Forget about life-saving equipment or faster ER visits—now energy audits and carbon footprint charts are top of the agenda. It’s as if the planet’s temperature matters more to these executives than the health of American families.
This is what happens when radical left-wing ideology infects everything—even institutions meant to keep us healthy. If D.C. politicians refuse to hold these nonprofit hospital giants accountable, Americans need to ask: Who is our healthcare system really designed to help—the sick, or the political class?
