Every year, the left gives us a long list of “special” days to celebrate and be upset about. Today happens to be Workers’ Memorial Day. It’s supposed to honor workers who lost their lives or got hurt doing their jobs. That’s a worthy cause, but let’s ask ourselves: Who is actually making workplaces dangerous? Liberals with their endless regulations pretend they care, but their policies suffocate businesses, kill innovation, and sometimes even make jobs riskier by forcing companies to jump through hoops instead of focusing on real safety.
While the left pretends to be the champion of the working class, don’t forget how they treat American workers. They shout about worker safety, but then ship good blue-collar jobs overseas to please their globalist buddies. Factory towns get hollowed out so billionaire tech giants can get richer and China can flood the market with cheap junk. Ask any truck driver, factory worker, or small business owner left picking up the pieces—this is liberal “compassion” at work.
Of course, today is also Blueberry Pie Day, Clean Comedy Day, and School Bus Drivers’ Day. Liberals love these feel-good holidays to distract from the messes they create. While they pat themselves on the back for “raising awareness,” they conveniently forget the real threats to our kids’ and workers’ safety: unchecked crime, broken schools, and woke administrators more worried about pronouns than math or safety. Who protects the school bus driver when violent students or leftist policies run wild? Not the so-called progressives in charge.
Look at the bigger picture. The same left-wing mindset that breeds chaos in our culture is the one that feeds into the disturbing idea of political violence. People don’t just wake up one day with “the assassination mindset.” It’s the product of years of toxic rhetoric, fear-mongering about conservatives, and an endless drumbeat of anti-American propaganda. The media and their political puppets tell people that everyone who disagrees is an “enemy.” Is it any wonder that these seeds of division sometimes grow into violence?
America is falling apart because liberal activists and politicians would rather play identity politics and divide us than address the real issues we face. The only thing they’re good at is turning ordinary days into spectacles—and blaming everyone but themselves for the mess they make. Are we supposed to believe these are the people who care about American lives when they spend every day undermining our country and its values?
