The Ninth Circuit finally did something right in Portland, and it’s sending shockwaves through the ranks of the left-wing protest mob. For years, activists outside the ICE facility have run wild—smashing cameras, blocking entrances, hurling bricks, and turning city blocks into playgrounds for chaos. Yet every time law enforcement steps in to restore order, the left cries “oppression” and accuses ICE agents of silencing free speech. That tired excuse won’t work anymore.
This ruling is clear: the First Amendment isn’t a golden ticket for lawbreaking. Smashing property, trespassing, or throwing smoke bombs at federal agents doesn’t make you a patriot; it makes you a criminal. These so-called “peaceful protesters” love to play the victim, but nobody gets a free pass to attack law enforcement just because they’re waving a sign. The judges saw through the charade and handed ICE the win they deserve.
Let’s be honest—liberal outrage isn’t about protecting rights. It’s about undermining the only people still willing to enforce our laws and keep American communities safe. Democrats put handcuffs on federal agents, then act surprised when lawlessness explodes. Portland became a dumpster fire because radical leaders coddled rioters and tied law enforcement’s hands. This is what happens when politicians care more about appeasing the woke mob than defending law and order.
Of course, the anti-ICE crew isn’t giving up—they’re already scheming to cook up more lawsuits and drag ICE back into court. Their main character, the so-called “Portland Chicken,” is conveniently hiding from interviews, but eager to be the face of the movement. Meanwhile, their demands grow more ridiculous by the day. Next up? Demanding that ICE agents dress like circus clowns so rioters can spot and harass them more easily. If it weren’t so dangerous, it would be hilarious.
Federal judges just sent a loud, clear message: America stands with those who enforce the law, not with those who break it. Maybe Portland’s politicians should try listening for a change. Or would that require more backbone than the left has left?
