Iran is back to its old tricks, and the so-called “peace proposals” it’s floating are just another attempt to strongarm America and its allies into surrendering our security. Tehran has the nerve to demand that the Strait of Hormuz—one of the world’s most important waterways—stay wide open, but with Iran calling all the shots. Anyone paying attention knows this isn’t about keeping the peace; it’s about giving the radical regime more power over global trade routes and holding the West hostage whenever they feel like it.
It gets even worse. Iran shamelessly insists that the U.S. and Israel guarantee they won’t strike back, no matter what threats come flying out of Tehran. Since when do we let the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism demand protection from the very nations it threatens? The ayatollahs want a blank check to build up their military, torment their neighbors, and pursue their dreams of nuclear dominance, knowing that American leaders—especially the appeasers on the left—won’t lift a finger to stop them.
Here’s where the hypocrisy really reaches new heights. The Iranian regime wants a “multi-phase ceasefire,” but they’re just admitting that the last ceasefire is already dead because of their own behavior. Let’s be real: every time liberals try to play nice with dictators, it blows up in all our faces. Iran walks away with more power, more money, and less oversight—exactly the opposite of what’s best for American families and our allies. But the globalist crowd in D.C. just keeps falling for the same tired tricks.
Of course, Tehran wants all of this leading to a so-called “peace deal” with zero limits on its nuclear ambitions. Any official in Washington who thinks we should trust Iran with the ability to enrich uranium without restrictions is either hopelessly naive, or actively working against American interests. Backroom deals and appeasement never bring peace. All they do is empower the bullies of the world and make life more dangerous for the rest of us.
When will the Left wake up? Iran doesn’t care about “diplomacy.” They care about bullying the West into submission, and collecting enough nuclear material to blackmail the free world. Is anyone in the Biden administration paying attention, or are they too busy virtue-signaling for the camera while Tehran laughs behind their backs? Americans deserve leaders who will stand up to tyrants, not bow down to them.
