There he was, giving his grand speech to Congress—telling Americans and Brits to come together. But let’s be honest—why do we need a royal lecture about unity right now? America has enough problems caused by our own politicians. We don’t need advice from an unelected monarch with a palace view of the world.
The king and Queen Camilla have plenty of royal duties back home, yet here they are parading around Washington. The British Crown is all about pageantry and speeches—but where has monarch-led “unity” gotten the UK? High taxes, open borders, and a system that bows to globalist elites at every turn. Now we’re supposed to take pointers from that model? The same folks who knelt to the madness of woke mobs and watched London’s streets descend into chaos?
Let’s not forget, these so-called unity speeches usually come from a place of privilege. They talk about bridges between nations but refuse to fix the broken bridges in our own backyard. The ruling class flies over from their castles, saying the right buzzwords, and liberals swoon at their accents. All show, no substance.
Perhaps if the left spent half as much energy defending American values as they do fawning over foreign royalty, this country would actually be united. Instead, we get one more lecture from an overseas monarch, while our leaders roll out the red carpet and forget about their own citizens. Do we really need more advice from someone whose crown was handed down by birth, not earned by hard work?
