The left’s mask has officially dropped. Not even two days after a deranged gunman tried to assassinate the President of the United States at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Democrat Katie Porter fired off a campaign fundraising email with what can only be described as a disgusting message. Instead of offering unity or condemning violence, Porter’s team chose to spew pure hatred in bold letters — proof that for the radical left, decency goes out the window as soon as there’s a political opportunity.
This is what passes as “resistance” to liberals: cursing at the former President in a time of national shock, as if that’s some sort of brave stand. But let’s be real. The only thing brave here would have been calling for calm or offering prayers for those shaken by the attempt on the President’s life. Instead, the Democrats’ response is more rage, more vulgarity, and more attempts to whip up their angry base.
Katie Porter isn’t just some outlier lunatic. She’s the face of what the Democrat Party has turned into: a party more focused on fueling hatred and division than solving America’s real problems. And right when the country needed assurance from its so-called leaders, Democrats are sending fundraising emails that could have ended up in a trashy internet comment section. At what point does even the mainstream media start asking questions about how low the left is willing to go?
It’s hypocrisy at its finest. If a conservative had sent out anything like this after violence against a Democrat leader, the entire news cycle would be nothing but outrage. There’d be wall-to-wall coverage and calls to investigate “extremist rhetoric.” But when it’s one of their own? Silence, excuses, and more anti-Trump venom. The double standard is glaring—and Americans are sick and tired of it.
Where’s the party of “unity” and “healing” that Joe Biden promised on the campaign trail? All we get are cheap stunts, F-bomb-filled emails, and the never-ending drumbeat of anti-Trump rage. Maybe the Democrats should spend less time cursing Trump and more time caring about Americans who are worried about inflation, crime, and real threats to our country. At this point, you have to wonder: if Democrats are this reckless after an assassination attempt, what won’t they do to cling to power?
