Broadway has lost its mind. Instead of giving us real stories and celebrating talent, the stage is now just recycling garbage. They churn out the same tired stories, dust off old revivals, and slap on a “woke” twist to trick people into thinking this is progress. In reality, they’re just out of ideas. They’ve run out of creativity, run out of inspiration—run out of steam.
Where are the bold new plays? Where are the characters that make people think, feel, and dream? Now all we get are cheap knockoffs and rip-offs. Don’t be fooled by the fancy costumes and glittering lights—Broadway has become a parade for recycled nonsense. And let’s be honest, the left loves it this way. No risk, no imagination, just repeat what’s already been done and rake in the cash from tourists who don’t know any better.
This is all part of a bigger problem: the liberal elite have infected even the theater with their laziness. Innovation is dead because these so-called “artists” are too afraid to offend anyone. They hide behind safe stories, reheated musicals, and diversity quotas instead of real talent. Broadway used to be daring and bold. Now it’s just another echo chamber for globalist groupthink.
Ask yourself: what’s next, are they going to put random nobodies on stage just for the gimmick? Judging by next year’s lineup, they might as well start pulling people in off the street. This is exactly what you get when you let Democrats and woke consultants run the show—everyone waiting their turn to virtue signal instead of actually entertaining America.
Real Americans want stories that honor tradition, celebrate hard work, and showcase real talent—not endless remakes and politically correct pandering. Is it any wonder ticket sales are tanking? Maybe it’s time Broadway took a good look in the mirror and remembered who built it in the first place. But then again, self-reflection doesn’t fit their script these days.
