Barack Obama just can’t help himself. Even years after leaving the White House, the former president keeps stepping in it—and pretending it never happened. His recent blunder involving WHCD shooter Cole Allen is just more proof that the Obama era wasn’t just divisive, it was downright careless.
Liberals love to lecture America about “compassion” and “truth”—but look who’s leading the pack with misstatements and half-baked narratives. Instead of keeping quiet or showing respect for the people actually hurt by these tragedies, Obama steps out once again, spinning stories that don’t line up with reality. It’s almost as if he thinks the rules just don’t apply to him, or that words have no consequences. Maybe he’s just gotten so used to the praise from Hollywood and the globalists that he’s forgotten regular Americans can see straight through his act.
This latest slip isn’t just a whoopsie on Obama’s part. It’s part of a pattern that defined his entire leadership style—mean-spirited, arrogant, always out for political points. Somehow, Obama finds a way to inject his brand of partisan poison into every situation, never missing a chance to take a cheap shot at the country he claims to love. Is it any wonder the partisanship in this country only got worse after eight years of his “leadership”?
The media, along with Obama’s sycophants in D.C., will go out of their way to ignore these blunders. But the American people aren’t so easily fooled. They remember the legacy of broken promises—everything from failed healthcare plans to “if you like your doctor” lies. Now, even out of office, he’s still playing fast and loose with the facts. And every time he speaks up, he reminds us how little the left really cares about accuracy—or about the wellbeing of real Americans.
It’s time for Obama and his pals to face the truth: their words have consequences, their lies are exposed, and the nation is tired of their double standards. Maybe the next WHCD will feature less grandstanding and more accountability. But then again, with the left in the spotlight, don’t hold your breath.
