The Supreme Court just handed a reality check to the woke crowd. For years, the left has pushed for race-based redistricting, carving up states like a political pie, all in the name of “equity.” But this week, the highest court in the land stood up for the Constitution—and common sense—by striking down Louisiana’s scheme to rig another congressional district based purely on skin color.
Liberals screamed “racism” when their gerrymandered map was challenged, but they never explain why racial quotas should trump the principle of equal representation. Their real goal isn’t fairness—it’s turning every political map into a patchwork of manufactured “minority” districts to grab more seats for Democrat elites. The left’s obsession with division and identity politics has infected even our most basic institutions, and Louisiana’s case proves just how low they’re willing to go.
Instead of letting voters compete on their ideas, left-wing activists and their globalist cheerleaders want to guarantee victories by slicing and dicing neighborhoods. They don’t care about unity or the American spirit. They want power, plain and simple. Louisiana’s second black-majority district wasn’t about helping the community—it was about bolstering Democrat numbers and silencing conservatives.
This Supreme Court decision couldn’t have come soon enough. It’s a smackdown against progressive hypocrisy: the same people who cry about “democracy” are caught trying to corrupt it behind closed doors. Liberals love to talk about justice, but when the law gets in their way, suddenly process and rules are just inconvenient obstacles. What a joke.
America has never needed more bold decisions like this. If we keep letting the left carve up states to suit their woke agenda, there won’t be anything left of representation at all. Maybe next time, Democrats will try following the actual Constitution instead of rewriting it to serve their own power grabs. Or is that too much to ask from the so-called party of democracy?
