Once again, Barack Obama is outraged because the Supreme Court decided to follow the Constitution. After the Court overturned a plan in Louisiana that carved up districts based only on race, Obama rushed to protect the old political games of his party. He and his Democrat friends want the government to pick winners and losers by skin color, not merit or fairness.
Let’s be real: these “race-based” district maps are just another way for liberals to lock in power. Democrats love to use the Voting Rights Act as a shield for their radical schemes, twisting it into a tool to divide Americans and grab more votes by any means necessary. But when the Supreme Court steps in and defends real equal protection—when they say “No more racial gerrymandering”—Democrats scream and cry that democracy is under attack.
What’s really under assault is the idea of treating every American equally. The left wants to keep playing the old game: slice and dice voters by color, keep Americans arguing, and force their phony “equity” on the public. Obama talks about a “key pillar” of voting rights, but what he’s defending is a rigged system that helps career politicians and punishes real unity.
Where’s the outrage from Obama and his followers about the rights of voters who want fairness and transparency? Where is the concern for Americans who dream of a country that unites instead of divides? Apparently, that’s not good enough for the global elite who think they know best for everyone in Middle America.
The Supreme Court got it right. Americans are sick of being separated, labeled, and manipulated just to please the coastal liberal class. The truth is, race-based gerrymandering is un-American to its core. Will the Democrats ever stand for true equality, or is their entire agenda just identity politics and power grabs?
