Gavin Newsom, the darling of the liberal elite, somehow keeps dodging responsibility for the disasters piling up under his leadership. Now, if you listen to his pals in the Democrat Party, they say he deserves straight A’s and B’s. What world are they living in? This is grade inflation at its worst—and it’s happening in plain sight.
Take a look at the facts that the Democrats want to ignore. California has the highest poverty rate in America. That’s right, in the land of sunshine and Silicon Valley riches, nearly one in five Californians lives in poverty. But Newsom’s buddies still pat him on the back. Is that what passes for success under liberal rule now? Maybe for coastal elites, but not for the struggling families and law-abiding taxpayers who watch their state crumble.
Who benefits from this fantasy grading system? Not ordinary Californians. While Democrats throw out gold stars and fake report cards, the cost of living skyrockets and families are forced out of their homes. Homelessness is out of control, criminals walk free, and the Golden State golden days have turned into a nightmare. Still, the ruling class throws Newsom a party—while the people he serves face real-time pain.

The Democrats in Sacramento aren’t grading Newsom’s performance—they’re grading their own ability to cover up leftist disasters and keep their grip on power. This is the same crowd that lectures Middle America about “equity” while turning California into a playground for globalists and special interests.
Californians know the truth, even if the politicians won’t admit it. Proud Americans deserve better than a rigged report card and empty promises. If this is what an “A student” looks like in the Democrat playbook, maybe it’s time to throw out the whole gradebook.
