Cuba is on the brink and only Trump and Rubio are standing up to the threat

Cuba has been dancing with America’s worst enemies for decades, but the left never seems to care. While progressives in Washington wring their hands and drone on about “diplomacy,” real Americans know the truth: Cuba is a ticking time bomb, backed by dictators in Russia, China, Iran, and even terrorist gangs like Hamas and Hezbollah. This is not some outdated Cold War paranoia—this is a live threat growing just off our southern shores.

Thank goodness President Trump isn’t afraid to call it what it is. While Biden and his ilk fumble around pretending communist Cuba is just another neighbor, Trump has taken the bull by the horns. He’s declared loud and clear that Cuba isn’t just problematic—it’s a serious threat to our national security. By signing a fresh executive order, Trump has sent a warning shot across Havana’s bow. This gives the United States new firepower to hammer them with tougher sanctions and lock down the cash that keeps the Castro regime afloat.

And why stop there? Marco Rubio knows exactly what’s at stake. Unlike limp-wristed liberals who think sanctions are “mean,” real patriots understand that sometimes you have to draw a line in the sand. Rubio isn’t mincing words—there are only two ways forward. Either Cuba steps away from its criminal alliances, or America brings the heat. No more foot-dragging, no more excuses.

Liberals, of course, will be screaming about “human rights” and “international cooperation.” What a joke. These are the same people who shrug when Cuba imprisons dissidents, or when Chinese and Russian warships cruise into Havana’s harbor. They’re practically asking for trouble, with their eyes wide shut to the obvious danger. Pretend all you want—Cuba isn’t just some poor, misunderstood island. It’s a launchpad for America’s enemies.

The United States has been patient long enough. It’s time to stop coddling communists and start defending our country. Trump gets it. Rubio gets it. It seems only the left is still living in fantasyland. How many warnings will it take before the Democrats wake up—after a crisis, or before?
