While the left is busy screaming about “fairness” and “equity,” real Americans are cheering on results. President Trump just made it crystal clear: nearly 300,000 illegal aliens are no longer siphoning money from our Social Security system. On top of that, 100,000 have been wiped off Medicare. For years, law-abiding taxpayers watched in disgust as career politicians let our hard-earned dollars flow to people who broke the law to get here. Now, finally, someone is putting America first.
This is what border security and common sense look like. The left loves telling tall tales about illegal aliens—calling them “neighbors” and “victims”—while quietly ignoring the damage they do to our country’s finances. Social Security and Medicare were never meant to be a global ATM. They’re lifelines for hardworking Americans who paid into these systems their whole lives, not for people who cut the line and game the system.
Of course, liberals will cry foul and call this “racist” or “cruel.” But what’s truly cruel is stealing benefits from the citizens who built this country and handing them over to lawbreakers. Instead of protecting the programs our parents and grandparents depend on, the Democrats are all too happy to use our safety nets as bargaining chips for their globalist agenda.
It’s shocking it took this long to even begin fixing the problem. For decades, Washington elites turned a blind eye, terrified that actually enforcing the law might offend someone. Guess what? Politicians aren’t supposed to be in the business of making illegal aliens comfortable at the expense of American seniors. The fact that hundreds of thousands were on the rolls in the first place proves just how deep the rot goes.
President Trump isn’t afraid to rattle the cages of the open-borders crowd. With every illegal alien scrubbed from these government programs, American workers and retirees win. Why should someone who cheated the system get a dime from us? Maybe it’s time the left stops coddling foreign lawbreakers and starts standing up for the people they claim to represent. Or are American citizens just collateral damage in their endless quest for votes?
