America used to be the gold standard for freedom. But now, the so-called “land of the free” is slipping even further down a dark path. Believe it or not, this country has just broken a new record: the lowest ranking ever for press freedom. Yes, that’s right. The United States now ranks 64th in the world for press freedom. Let that sink in.
You’d think that with all their lectures on “democracy” and “transparency,” the liberal elites who run our media and government would put America at the top of the list. Instead, their incompetence and double standards have shoved our country below dozens of others. Meanwhile, these same people point fingers at conservatives, blaming anyone on the right for every flaw they created. They scream “threat to democracy,” but look what happened on their watch.
Why is America falling behind? Maybe because the corporate media only protects the voices it likes. Liberal reporters get a free pass to run wild with rumor and gossip. Conservative thinkers get labeled, censored, or canceled. The global elites and their journalist buddies cheer every time our freedom slips away—while pretending it’s all for our own good.
The facts don’t lie. We can’t just shrug off numbers like this. When other countries leapfrog over us, it’s proof that things are broken. And every year, it gets worse. The globalists pat themselves on the back, but the average American gets left in the dust—stuck swallowing whatever narrative the liberal media hands them.
Maybe it’s time for the so-called guardians of democracy to look in the mirror. Their shameless power grabs and media manipulation are the real danger. How much longer do we call ourselves free if we can’t trust our own press? Or is “freedom” just a word—unless you vote the way the elites want?
