You Won’t Believe Who Illinois Just Released to Roam Free—And Why Parents Should Be Outraged

Once again, Illinois politicians have put criminals ahead of kids. This time, it’s not just any criminal—it’s a convicted child sex abuser who should never have seen the light of day. Instead of protecting our families, Gov. J.B. Pritzker and his friends in Springfield somehow thought it was a good idea to let Giovanni Quiroa back into society, even though federal agents at ICE specifically told them to keep him locked up.

It’s no secret where their loyalties lie. The Left can’t resist bending over backwards for criminals, especially when they think it scores them political points. The Illinois Department of Corrections got a clear warning from ICE—a detainer request. That means hold this guy, keep him off the streets, and let the feds handle it. But Pritzker and his crew chose to ignore law enforcement, letting a predator roam, just to make another political statement against President Trump’s immigration enforcement.

What message does that send to victims in Illinois? Apparently, if you’re a law-abiding citizen, politicians just don’t care. If you’re a criminal with an immigration detainer, you get a free pass. Sanctuary state policies are nothing more than an open invitation to predators and lawbreakers. It’s the taxpayers and innocent families who pay the price for this reckless, soft-on-crime approach, all so the political elites can keep up their “progressive” image.

Thank God that ICE tracked this guy down after Pritzker’s team set him loose. Let’s be clear, it wasn’t the work of Illinois politicians that made our communities safer—it was the men and women of DHS, working overtime just to undo the governor’s disastrous decisions. That’s not leadership—that’s liberal incompetence putting our kids at risk for sake of some twisted globalist agenda.

When will these so-called “leaders” take responsibility for the chaos they create? How many more dangerous felons will they unleash just to score another virtue signal? Illinois voters should remember this disgrace every time they go to the ballot box. If politicians are more interested in hugging criminals than protecting children, maybe it’s time we kick them out. If that’s compassion, what does real justice look like?
