America is waking up to a harsh truth: for decades, our factories have shut down and jobs have disappeared, all because greedy corporations and clueless politicians would rather buy junk from China than support American workers. Now, the Department of Justice claims it’s finally cracking down on companies that lie about where their products come from. About time! For years, the globalist elite have bent over backwards to make it easier for Communist China to flood our shelves with cheap plywood, steel, and everything in between. The end result? Millions out of work, Main Street abandoned, and Beijing laughing all the way to the bank.
The latest example should make every American furious. One of the country’s biggest plywood distributors was just caught red-handed, smuggling in $30 million worth of plywood made in China but slapped with phony “Made in Malaysia” labels. Why? To dodge tariffs that were put in place to protect American industry from China’s dirty tricks. They stuck America’s hardworking businesses with the bill, profited while cheating, and undercut the very backbone of our economy. And let’s get real: this isn’t some one-off. Countless companies play the shell game, sending Chinese goods through a middleman to trick our laws and our consumers.
Liberals love to lecture us about “global fairness,” but when it comes to protecting America’s workers and national security, they’re nowhere to be found. The same set who cry about “corporate greed” are happy to let their Hollywood pals and Wall Street allies get rich off slave labor and Communist supply chains. Meanwhile, every hardworking American who wants to buy local gets lied to. Try building a home or buying furniture—you practically need a private detective to figure out if your money is propping up a Chinese sweatshop or putting food on an American family’s table.
And make no mistake, this isn’t just about some stickers on a box. Every dollar we send to Beijing’s puppet-masters helps pay for China’s surveillance state, toxic fentanyl, and endless aggression against freedom. Yet the corporate “woke” crowd and their sycophants in government are more worried about cheap imports than true accountability or American sovereignty. When companies break the rules, they don’t just hurt their competitors—they help China get richer and stronger at America’s expense.
Companies should absolutely be punished—hard—if they cheat the system and mislead customers. It’s time to make “Made in America” mean something again and to stop American dollars from building China’s war machine. The DOJ better not just slap wrists and walk away. America’s businesses and consumers deserve the truth, real consequences for fraud, and leaders with the guts to put America First. If the left can’t get behind that, whose side are they really on?
