America just witnessed true heroism in Oklahoma, the kind most liberals pretend doesn’t exist. Principal Kirk Moore stood up when it mattered most—when a deranged ex-student stormed into Pauls Valley High School, armed with not one, but two semiautomatic handguns. Instead of running or waiting for orders, this man charged right at evil, stopping a school shooting before it could become another dreadful headline.
Here’s the reality the media elites don’t want to discuss: guns in the hands of criminals are only stopped by real-life courage, not by empty hashtags or more pointless gun control laws. Principal Moore didn’t hide behind policies or politicians. Despite taking a bullet during the struggle, he put his life between innocent students and a would-be killer. While the left tells us heroism doesn’t exist and that “thoughts and prayers” are worthless, Moore’s daily prayers for his students ring out as the real shield against chaos.
Of course, the left will tie itself in knots trying to explain this away. They love to paint every school as a ticking time bomb, blame law-abiding citizens, and demand more control over us all. Yet when a genuine threat came to town, a good guy with guts—not bureaucratic busybodies—saved the day. Where are the teachers’ union bosses when bullets start flying? Where’s the parade of anti-gun activists? Nowhere. It took a common-sense patriot with backbone and faith, not a parade of social justice warriors or “restorative circle” nonsense.
Meanwhile, the suspect—who dreamed of another Columbine—gets trotted into court, shielded by high-powered lawyers begging for a gag order. That’s how the broken system works: victims wrestle with trauma while twisted individuals get million-dollar bonds and all the sympathy our coddling culture can muster. The legal system bends over backward for the accused, but who’s giving standing ovations to the men and women teaching our children and protecting them with their lives?
Instead of handing out meaningless participation trophies, these Oklahoma kids made Moore their prom king. It’s a rare and beautiful sight: young Americans honoring the best among us, not some TikTok influencer or grievance-peddling celebrity. Moments like this show what real American values look like—courage, duty, and love for one’s neighbor. Maybe Washington should tune in for once. When will liberals realize prayer, grit, and good old-fashioned American defiance are what actually keep our schools safe?
