Trump just rolled out a bold new plan to get ships from other countries through that dangerous stretch of water, starting Monday. Is anyone surprised that it’s Trump, not the weak-kneed globalists, who’s stepping up to the plate?
For years, Democrats and their pals in Europe just wrung their hands as Iran bullied ships and threatened the world. The Strait of Hormuz is a lifeline for oil and commerce, but under Obama and Biden, it became a playground for radicals. Where was the leadership then? Nowhere to be found. But Trump isn’t afraid to send a message: America won’t sit back and watch chaos unfold.
Of course, the left will scream about “world policing.” They’d rather bow to hostile regimes and let global interests walk all over American strength. But Trump just showed that peace doesn’t come from weakness. It comes from sending a clear warning to those who would threaten innocent ships: not on our watch.
