Biden Bureaucrats Killed Spirit Airlines and Your Cheap Flights Are Next

Spirit Airlines is circling the drain, and Americans have only big government and clueless Biden bureaucrats to thank. Spirit didn’t just disappear overnight—it’s a slow-motion disaster, years in the making. Bleeding cash, stacked sky-high with debt, Spirit desperately looked for a way out. But Biden’s so-called regulators stepped in, clutching their rulebooks and shouting about “competition,” and drove yet another airline into the ground.

Liberals love to preach about protecting the “little guy” and “keeping prices low,” but their actions tell a different story. When Spirit tried to team up with JetBlue to save itself, Biden’s army of unelected pencil-pushers shut it down cold. They claimed they were preserving competition. In reality, they crushed a company, destroyed jobs, and stripped travelers of more choices. That’s liberal hypocrisy at its finest: pretending to be heroes while putting political ideology ahead of working Americans.

The ugly truth is this—Spirit couldn’t survive because of Democrats’ anti-business, anti-growth agenda. Mountains of regulations and government red tape don’t protect anyone except government employees and their globalist buddies. Ordinary travelers are left with fewer flights and higher fares thanks to the geniuses in Washington. The left moans about “corporate greed,” but what about the greed of power-hungry bureaucrats strangling America’s economy?

Instead of letting the free market sort things out, Biden’s people think they know better. They punish success, stifle competition, and then watch as companies crumble. Wall Street fat cats and globalization cheer, but Main Street ends up paying the price. The Biden administration can’t even manage the basics—just look at the sky. There goes another airline, thanks to their so-called “protection.”

Is this what “building back better” looks like? Americans deserve real choices, not government-mandated extinction. Maybe next time, Washington should keep their hands off and let businesses compete without the dead weight of left-wing interference.
