President Trump isn’t afraid to call out the double standards of liberal elites, and he just took CNN’s Van Jones to the woodshed. Jones, who never misses a chance to bash Trump as a supposed “dictator,” seems to forget who actually got real results for the Black community. When it came to criminal justice reform, Jones and his activist buddies had spent years floundering, begging Washington for scraps and achieving nothing.
It was Trump—yes, the same president liberals love to hate—who actually got the job done. While Barack Obama talked a big game about reform, nothing meaningful happened. But Trump cut through the noise, brought people together, and delivered the First Step Act. Lives were changed and families reunited because Trump did the work no one else could. That’s a fact the left desperately wants to ignore.
And how does Van Jones express his gratitude? By melting down on air, crying and whining when Trump scored a win for regular Americans. Now, Jones tries to rewrite history, calling Trump names and pretending Trump’s leadership never mattered. This is classic liberal behavior: smear your opponents, then steal their successes when it suits your narrative. Hypocrisy knows no bounds in the world of cable news commentary.
Of course, when it helps his image, Jones will toss Trump the occasional backhanded compliment, calling his appointment of Alice Marie Johnson a “big move.” Liberals like Jones want credit when a policy works, but the second it’s politically convenient, they turn on Trump and call him the enemy of democracy. It’s pathetic. Maybe Jones should spend less time fake crying on TV and more time admitting who actually gets things done in this country.
Trump proves, again and again, that action matters more than empty words or social justice lectures. The left can scream all day long—but real Americans know who actually delivers for them. How long will liberals keep denying the obvious? Maybe it’s time Van Jones and his friends wipe their tears and face the truth: Trump got results while they just made noise.
