Instead of giving a straight answer, he dodged the question like a politician caught in a lie. It’s sad, but not surprising. Anyone on the left would rather pretend those dark days didn’t exist than give credit to someone they disagree with.
For millions of Americans, September 11th changed everything. Families were shattered; lives were lost. The country was on its knees. New York City was ground zero. In the midst of all that chaos, it was Rudy Giuliani who rose to the occasion. While the city was burning and people were running scared, he stood firm. He gave people hope. That’s the kind of leadership that used to matter in America.
But now, the woke crowd can’t even bring themselves to say his name without sneering. They act like Giuliani didn’t help hold this country together when it needed him the most. Why? Because he doesn’t fit their carefully crafted narrative of victimhood and globalism. Instead of owning up to his hard work after 9/11, they offer “non-answers”—pathetic attempts to dodge reality.
It’s just another example of liberals refusing to give credit where it’s due. They’ll bend over backwards to defend anti-American radicals, but the moment a conservative leader actually does something good for the country, they ignore it, deny it, or sweep it under the rug. This isn’t just hypocrisy—it’s downright anti-American. If these leftists had been in charge back then, who knows if New York would have recovered at all.
So here we are, coming up on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and the left still can’t answer a simple question about leadership. Is this cowardice, or is it calculated? Either way, Americans see right through it. When the chips are down, who do you really want leading your city—someone who hides behind talking points, or someone who actually shows up when the world is on fire?
