Dying liberal icon Barney Frank begs Democrats to stop the woke madness before it’s too late

Barney Frank, once the very poster child of liberal Massachusetts, is now facing the end of his days in hospice care. But even as his own time runs short, he’s sending out warnings to his fellow Democrats about just how far off the deep end his party has gone. If that doesn’t speak volumes, what does? When a lifelong leftist is embarrassed by the cult-like antics of today’s Democrat Party, you know things are bad.

Frank spent decades fighting against Republicans, shaping the so-called “progressive” agenda. Now, as he takes his final breaths, he can’t hide his own disgust with how the radical left has hijacked the party he helped build. According to Frank, the obsession with every fringe social cause is turning off normal Americans. He sees the activists pushing gender ideology and identity politics at every turn—and even he thinks the Democratic Party is being swallowed whole by its own insanity.

He actually scolded Democrats for shoving issues like men competing in women’s sports down America’s throat, even warning that demanding full submission to these woke causes is a losing strategy. Frank said, in so many words, that the party is so desperate to virtue-signal, it’s forgotten how regular people think. If a career leftist can see that, imagine how fed up the rest of the country is.

Yet, even with all his warnings, Frank still managed to show his own blind spot. He said he wouldn’t be around to see the so-called “implosion” of President Trump. Clearly, he just can’t help clinging to that old left-wing fantasy. But while Frank sits in hospice waiting for the “return to normal,” does he even realize that the new normal—his party’s new normal—is a circus of gender confusion, race-baiting, and socialist nonsense?

Frank’s final message is a sad one. The Democrats have charged so far left that even their old-timers are begging for common sense. But the party isn’t listening. America is watching—and you have to ask, when even their own can’t stomach what liberals are selling, why should the rest of us?
