Biden pulls troops from Europe and hands victory to Russia and China while allies sound the alarm

The Biden administration loves to talk big about “standing with our allies.” But when it comes to actually sticking around where we’re needed—like Italy or Germany—they suddenly get cold feet. Last week, the Pentagon admitted it’s pulling 5,000 U.S. troops out of Germany. Meanwhile, the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, is sounding the alarm over talk of America leaving Italy behind too. So who exactly benefits from all this retreat? Because America sure doesn’t.

Liberal politicians love to play nice with globalist elites, but all this pandering has real costs. Weakening America’s military presence in Europe makes us look soft. It’s a gift to every bad actor out there—including those who would love nothing more than to see the West crumble. Who could forget that Russia and China only step up their bully tactics when America steps down? Yet here we are, removing a critical backbone of defense and stability from places that actually want our protection.

The left constantly preaches about “international partnerships,” but when an actual partner like Italy says they want us to stay, suddenly Washington acts like we’re overstaying our welcome. Meloni gets it. She sees what happens when America isn’t around: chaos. Meanwhile, U.S. liberals keep dreaming up fantasy worlds where we can “bring everyone home” and the world just magically rights itself.

It’s not just about troops. It’s about leadership. When conservatives ran the show, America set the pace for freedom and security. Today, under Biden, the message to our friends and enemies alike is clear: Don’t count on us. That’s irresponsible, dangerous, and will cost us far more in the long run than any troop deployment ever would.

Italy is right to push back. Maybe Meloni understands American strength better than our own so-called leaders. How much longer are we going to let liberal incompetence weaken our alliances while our enemies grow stronger? Wake up, Washington. America leads—or America loses.
