Redistricting. Just the word makes left-wing activists lose their minds. Now that the Supreme Court is putting some power back in the states’ hands, liberals are throwing tantrums from Alabama to New York. They’re terrified that the days of rigging districts in the name of “racial equity” are slowly slipping away.
Let’s be honest, Democrats have used gerrymandering as their secret weapon for years. Whenever they’re backed into a corner, they cry “racism” to protect their carefully carved-out strongholds. Now, thanks to the latest Supreme Court decision, states actually get to decide how they draw their own lines. Imagine that—letting people decide, not unelected judges or woke bureaucrats.
Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and—you guessed it—deep blue New York are now the new battlegrounds. It’s amazing how leftists scream about “democracy” until it’s not working in their favor. Suddenly, the system is unfair, and they want the courts to bail them out. Maybe if they spent less time pandering to globalist elites and more time listening to real Americans, they wouldn’t be so desperate.
Globalists and race-baiters don’t care about fair elections. They only care about keeping power by any means necessary. Why else would New York liberals be so quick to redraw maps behind closed doors every time they’re threatened? It’s pure political theater. And, of course, the media plays along, pretending this is some grand fight for “justice,” when it’s just the left scrambling to keep a grip on their fading influence.
It’s about time these states get the authority to knock down racially gerrymandered districts. Americans are tired of the race games and tired of Washington elites calling the shots. Now the left can whine, but no amount of crocodile tears will save their rotten system. If Democrats are so confident in their ideas, maybe they should try winning elections the honest way for a change. Why are they so afraid of a little fairness?
