Violence is out of control in Joe Biden’s America—and now it’s hit the very front yard of our nation’s capital. Reports say Michael Marx, a 45-year-old with a Texas driver’s license, decided to open fire near the White House on Monday. Just let that sink in. This is the heart of our free country, the place tourists flock for safety and history. And now people have to worry about getting shot steps away from the president’s doorstep.
Liberals love to pat themselves on the back about how their “progressive” policies make us safer. Are we supposed to believe them after this? The National Mall is supposed to be one of the most protected and respected places in America. Yet under left-wing leadership, it’s become a magnet for chaos. If our own capital city isn’t safe, what hope do small towns and cities across America have?
It seems every time there’s mayhem, Democrat leaders scramble to blame law-abiding gun owners. But the real issue is the rot in our cities, the endless catch-and-release programs, and the refusal to hold criminals accountable. Liberals scream about “common sense” reform, but their soft-on-crime agenda gives thugs an open invitation to do whatever they want. They’re more interested in coddling criminals than protecting decent citizens.
Let’s also not ignore the globalist elites who keep pushing for open borders and weak law enforcement, pretending it’s for our own good. Meanwhile, Americans are left to fend for themselves. Somehow, the people who run Washington, D.C. have money for foreign wars and pet projects, but can’t keep peace at home. This is what happens when politicians care more about their political image than our American families.
When will this clown show end? How many more shootings do we have to see before someone in Washington actually stands up for the safety of regular Americans? The National Mall should symbolize American greatness, not liberal failure. Maybe it’s time voters show the left exactly how sick and tired they are of living in a world that feels less and less like the country our founders built.
