Barack Obama has always had a knack for dodging responsibility. Now, he’s managed to take it to a new level by blaming President Trump for the “tension” in his own marriage. That’s right—after years of the mainstream media propping up the Obamas as America’s picture-perfect couple, the truth starts slipping out. And who gets the blame? Not Obama himself. Not the failed policies. Not the endless lectures Americans suffered for eight years. Nope. It’s Trump’s fault.
It’s almost laughable how liberals will tie President Trump to absolutely everything. A pothole in Chicago? Thanks, Trump. Bad hair day? Blame Trump. Marital discord in the Obama household? Of course, it’s Trump’s fault. Barack Obama’s increased presence in politics, whining and meddling from behind the scenes during Trump’s administration, took a toll on his family life. But instead of taking a hard look in the mirror, Obama chooses the easy way out—point the finger at America’s favorite villain according to the left.
This is classic liberal playbook stuff. When things go wrong, the last thing Democrats do is accept responsibility. Obamas enjoy their multi-million dollar estates, global speaking tours, and celebrity friends—yet we’re supposed to believe they’re just helpless victims of the “orange man” living rent-free in their heads. It’s enough to make any rational person roll their eyes.
While most Americans just want to get on with their lives, Obama can’t resist stoking old divides. He can’t even keep his own house in order without dragging politics and Trump into it. Instead of offering an example of independence, he chooses to sell himself as another victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The hypocrisy is stunning: the supposed “leader” of hope and change, brought down by a rival he claims to despise, all while blaming someone else for his personal choices.
If liberals keep blaming Trump for every single problem in their lives, maybe they should consider what that says about their own leadership and priorities. America deserves better than this endless parade of excuses and victimhood. Maybe it’s time for the left to stop whining, stop scapegoating, and finally start owning their failures. But then again, expecting accountability from Obama—and his fellow globalist elites—might be the biggest stretch of all.
