Katie Porter’s Cringe-Worthy Mom Act Proves California Democrats Are Totally Out of Touch

Katie Porter’s latest campaign ad is proof that California Democrats have lost the plot. Here is a career politician desperately scrambling for the “relatable mom” card, but anyone can see right through it. When someone spends years riding around D.C. as part of the swamp, suddenly talking about pushing shopping carts and driving high-mileage minivans feels as fake as a three-dollar bill.

It’s almost laughable to watch Porter try to clean up her image after snapping at a staffer not long ago. Now she’s making a joke about it in her ad, hoping that voters will forget how she really treats those around her. This is what the Left does: they mess up, then try to spin it like it was all just a harmless joke. Californians aren’t buying it. Porter’s strategy is backfiring—her path to the general election is slipping away as more people see she’s just another self-obsessed liberal.

Meanwhile, while Porter clowns her way through campaign ads, her party is running off the rails. The Democrats in California are fighting each other just to prove who can be the most radical and out-of-touch. You’ve got big shots like Xavier Becerra and billionaire Tom Steyer shoving their way to the front, promising more government, more regulations, and more control over your life.

Let’s not forget: these are the same people who want to “stand up to Donald Trump” but don’t have a clue how to stand up for regular Americans. They love blaming “greedy corporations,” but their own scandals and hypocrisy are impossible to miss. The Left never misses a chance to pretend they’re champions of the people, even as they block parents from having a say in schools, destroy jobs, and tax California families into the ground.

Do voters want more showboating, more phony victimhood, and more failed Democrat rulers? Or is it finally time to say enough is enough? California deserves leaders who actually work for the people—not another fake “mom” routine from a career elitist.
