Once again, we see what happens when activist judges put the rights of criminals above the safety of law-abiding Americans. This week, a federal judge decided it was more important to slap Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with some so-called “ethics review” than to keep our streets protected from a migrant suspect accused of homicide. That’s right—a violent foreigner got special treatment, while our own families are left to wonder who actually stands up for them.
This judge didn’t just stop at criticizing ICE. She actually let an accused killer walk free for a week, all because she thought the government didn’t handle the deportation paperwork perfectly. It’s a twisted world when technicalities matter more than the life of a murdered American and the peace of mind of our communities. The judge seems to care more about punishing ICE and making headlines than serving justice or protecting American citizens.
But as usual, liberal logic comes back to bite itself. After all this hand-wringing and lectures about “egregious” behavior, she folded to the government’s plea and allowed ICE to rearrest the suspect. The very agency she tried to humiliate was suddenly the only hope to get this alleged killer back behind bars. So much for principled decisions. It’s clear the judge’s virtue-signaling only goes so far when public outrage starts boiling over.
How many times do these open borders, anti-enforcement activists need to be proven wrong before they start prioritizing Americans? Every day, we see the consequences of their soft-on-crime, pro-illegal-alien policies. They sabotage law enforcement at every turn and go soft on people here illegally—even those charged with violent crimes. It’s no wonder everyday Americans are fed up and demanding real accountability from both the courts and our leaders.
This isn’t just a blunder, it’s the natural result of liberal incompetence and their endless sympathy for the wrong side. If judges and politicians can’t decide whether to side with ICE or with people accused of murder, what hope is left for American safety? Maybe it’s time we stop letting activist ideologues run our courtrooms and start putting American lives first—for a change.
