California used to be known for sunshine and opportunity. Now, though, Democrats in the Golden State are more obsessed with destroying Big Oil than fixing their own crumbling cities. They’ve gone after oil companies with the same rage you’d expect from a Hollywood blockbuster villain, except this isn’t the “Terminator”—it’s real life, and average Americans are the ones taking the hit.
Here’s the truth that liberals don’t want to admit: California’s bans, boycotts, and bullying tactics against Big Oil aren’t making anyone’s life better. Gas prices soar. Jobs disappear. Middle-class families scrape just to fill their tanks, while the wealthy elite pat themselves on the back for “saving the planet” from their gated mansions. Ironically, their crusade against oil doesn’t even clean up the environment—they just push energy production overseas to countries with lower standards.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, once the governor and still Hollywood royalty, has tried to sound the alarm. He knows firsthand that the so-called progressive solutions are all bark and no bite. California’s war on Big Oil doesn’t hurt the billionaires or the green energy investors. It crushes regular people—the truckers, the farmers, the families stuck in LA traffic—who depend on affordable energy to survive.
Don’t fall for the liberal song and dance. Their environmental posturing is about power, not principle. They’re happy to tell working people to pay more and live less while they indulge in luxury. These same Democrats use government muscle to kneecap American companies, all while handing the energy market over to foreign dictators and globalists. It’s not about saving the world—it’s about control, votes, and special interests.
The left’s “Terminator” approach to oil is just another script—one that leaves Californians paying the price. How many more families have to suffer before Democrats admit their own inconvenient truth: you can’t build a better future by burning out the backbone of America?
