Trump stands tall as Biden bows why Iran feared him at the Strait of Hormuz and liberals panicked

When the world braced for another mess in the Middle East, President Trump didn’t blink. While the Biden crowd was always eager to bow to Iranian threats and toss American interests off the nearest oil tanker, Trump made one thing crystal clear: the Strait of Hormuz is off limits to Iranian bullies.

Iran—never shy about saber-rattling and chaos-making—thought it could rattle the world by flexing in the world’s most important waterway. True to form, the usual “Iran-backed elements” are poking the bear, plotting to disrupt shipping and energy supplies with their tired old playbook. Liberals pretend tough talk causes problems. What actually causes danger is the endless whimpering and appeasement we saw for eight years under Obama, and then again with Biden’s team, who might as well be negotiating in Farsi for all the backbone they show.

Trump’s booming warning wasn’t just fluff. He sent a clear message: don’t even think about messing with America or blocking the Strait. He wasn’t groveling for a meeting or offering pallets of cash in the dead of night. When Trump speaks, Middle Eastern troublemakers listen—because they know he’s got the muscle to back it up. It’s amazing what happens when the president actually puts America first instead of apologizing for it.

How many times do we have to watch leftists insist that “dialogue” and gift-baskets to Tehran will make them play nice? News flash: you can’t coddle terrorists into being good global citizens. You have to look them straight in the eye and dare them to try something stupid. Trump knows that. The Democrats never will.

Maybe that’s what drives progressive elites crazy—Trump walks tall and talks even taller, defending American workers, American energy, and the American way of life. The question is, do we want a president who plays nice with tyrants, or one who tells them exactly where they can put their threats?
