As America gears up to celebrate 250 years of freedom, families all across this great nation are preparing for our most important birthday yet. But no thanks to the constant failures of liberal leadership, Americans are left wondering if they’re truly safe anymore—even on their own soil. The world is more dangerous, our borders are wide open, and every radical out there seems to be emboldened under weak, globalist appeasers in Washington.
Now, just before the fireworks fly and the flags wave for America’s big 250, the Biden administration would have us believe everything is under control. The Department of Homeland Security is putting on a big show, trotting out the usual reassurances on cable news. Their boss, Markwayne Mullin, is promising everything will be safe and sound for July 4th. Funny how this sudden dedication to security comes right when public trust is at rock bottom—are we supposed to forget the parade of open border disasters, international blunders, and domestic unrest we’ve suffered under Joe Biden and his liberal cronies?
It’s rich watching left-wing bureaucrats scramble to prove they love this country just in time for the cameras. Where was this passion for security when small towns were flooded with illegal immigrants and fentanyl flowed into our neighborhoods? Where’s the concern when violent radicals torch cities in the name of “social justice,” while law-abiding Americans are left to fend for themselves? Liberals only seem to care about “safety” when it suits their narrative—a stunning level of hypocrisy for anyone paying attention.
Americans deserve better than hollow promises from a bloated government that can’t even protect its own borders. Our nation didn’t make it to 250 years by relying on out-of-touch D.C. elites to keep us safe—we did it through grit, faith, and a deep love for liberty. The only “guarantee” patriots want on July 4th is that our God-given rights are respected, our traditions are honored, and that we can celebrate without some radical, America-hating leftist trying to ruin the party.
So let’s have our fireworks, wave our flags, and remember exactly who built this country. If only the bureaucrats running the show today respected that legacy as much as the rest of us do. Maybe then we wouldn’t need their empty reassurances. Or maybe the next time they promise safety, they can start by defending the Constitution instead of trampling on it. Is that really too much to ask in the land of the free?
